Victor Reyes

Victor is a business and finance professional responsible for building and scaling Ponterra’s land pipeline across Latin America in support of high-integrity reforestation and carbon projects.
Trained as an economist, Victor brings experience across finance, real assets, and business development, with a strong focus on unit economics, cost optimization, and the structuring of long-term land agreements. He works at the intersection of investor and operator, translating investment strategy into projects that are both operationally sound and financially durable.
Victor is deeply involved in negotiating with investors, offtakers, and landowners, while also leading on-the-ground teams to ensure execution aligns with financial and ecological objectives. He has extensive experience developing real estate and infrastructure projects across Latin America.
He holds a B.A. in Economics from ITAM in Mexico City.
