Hubert Szczygieł

Hubert is an ecologist with experience in a diversity of systems, from the tropics to the arctic. He is particularly passionate about tropical biodiversity, and how to protect and restore it. His research involves landscape-scale multi-taxa biodiversity monitoring, aiming to understand the cost-effectiveness of monitoring different biodiversity indicators in the context of reforestation. As biodiversity lead, Hubert is in charge of protocol design and implementation, data analysis, and biodiversity quantification across Ponterra’s projects.
