Andrew Coates is a lifelong entrepreneur and operations expert with over 30 years of experience designing, managing, and operating multi-million-dollar restoration, infrastructure and nature-based projects across Africa and Latin America. He has been based in Panama for 20+ years and is one of the world’s leading conservation and environmental stewards. Andrew’s projects have received awards from National Geographic as well as funding from the World Bank, USAID, the WWF, the EU, and more. Andrew manages a readily deployable team of trusted experts across sustainability, ecology, and conservation, and his ”on time and on budget” project management track record makes him the ideal leader for Ponterra’s large-scale complex reforestation initiatives.
Andrew is a graduate of University of Hertfordshire and has lived and worked in 13 countries.
